Our CEO Darrin Sargeant witnessed firsthand the impact of the drought on our local farmers when he visited a customer in Narrabri, North Western New South Wales. Powell Industrial decided to get behind this great cause and do what we can to help Australia’s farming communities through the BUY A BALE initiative.

What’s Buy a Bale? 
Buy a Bale is a drought appeal campaign. With your donations we’ll be providing meaningful support for farmers by delivering hay and other essential items to farmers who have no feed left for their cattle. By donating to the drought appeal campaign this is helping not just
farmers but their communities and so many more people.

Where can I donate?
At any of our Powell Industrial Branches across Australia, we’ll have barrels at our counters for you to put your donations into. All donations will be deposited regularly into the drought appeal campaign.

DRESS UP LIKE A FARMER
We are not just fundraising and collecting money from others…we are also getting the team involved. On Thursday, 1^st November 2018 we will be hosting a ‘Dress up Like a Farmer Day’ for all Powell Industrial employees. The Powell Industrial team will be showcasing their best farmer gear…think hats, boots, overalls, jeans, plaid shirts…and gifting a gold coin donation for the Buy a Bale appeal campaign. It’s all about getting involved and helping out our Australian farmers!
